The Lansing Performing Arts Center

The Lansing Performing Arts Center was birthed out of the commitment of one man to see the fulfillment of a dream to educate, inspire and provide dedication to faith, family, and the future. That dream was introduced by Visible Music College in Lansing where that man, Tony Powell was a professor and administrator of the community music school services. 

Tony’s desire was to see musicians and artist developed for the purpose of both professional and excellence in music and the arts with a foundation based on God's Word. He believed that music, in virtually every form, whether that was instrumentation, vocal production, songwriting, dance, and media were all gifts from God. He believed that if the foundation stayed at the forefront of their education, their inspiration, their dedication, that they would not only succeed in life, but make a significant impact in their world. 

After the unfortunate closing of Visible Music College and the Visible Community Music School, Tony, his family, and many others connected in an emerging effort to keep the dream alive and in September 2023, The Lansing Performing Arts Center was born. 

We are fully dedicating to our Faith in God, dedicating to Family, and the Future of the Arts. As the strongest root of the creative tree, the Performing Arts will never die. The arts are like a fine wine, they're designed to get better with time. The Lansing Performing Arts Center is committed to doing our part to promote the best in every area of the Arts knowing that Faith, Family and Community are the bedrock of our future, and here at the Lansing Performing Arts Center our future looks bright
